Gina’s background includes making a living as a professional writer, an online business marketing consultant and a decade of experience in the financial services industry.

Blog Manager

Mickey is the blog manager here at Horkey HandBook and an experienced freelance writer. She loves to write about productivity, avoiding procrastination, mental strength, work engagement, learning, creativity and focus.

Daryn Collier

SEO, Content Strategy and Platforms

Daryn can be found managing SEO and Content Strategy. He’s also responsible for platforms and most things tech related. His passion lies in digital marketing, small business and working with other entrepreneurs. He’s owned a handful of businesses over the last 20 years including spending 8+ years working online as a licensed equities trader.

Donna Schultz

Customer service

Donna Schultz is a former non-profit worker bee turned virtual assistant, and a stellar example of embracing change. After getting laid off from more than 27 years with the same company (and not being quite ready to retire), she joined Horkey HandBook to help with customer service (among other things). Donna’s also the proud mother of one Ms. Gina Horkey, founder of Horkey HandBook.

Brea Horton

VA Leads Community Manager

Brea is an alum of both the 30 Days to VA Success and the Pinterest VA courses. She helps manage out VA Leads Community and runs her own digital marketing agency where she focuses on helping brands discover their highest potential through social media marketing. When she isn’t working or scrolling through Facebook, you can often find her snuggling with her two Saint Bernards and her kitten, while listening to whatever podcast or audiobook has caught her attention that week.
